Like you, I was struck by some glaring omissions this year (I really thought there'd be more nods for Battlestar Gallactica). However, The Office was recognized, and the great writing teams on Jon Stewart and Colbert. So it's not all bad!

True. Plus Lost and DH really didn't have very good seasons. But still, I thought the new judging system was supposed to make a huge difference, and I didnt see that at all.

And yeah, where was Battlestar? I guess the Emmy Elders son't watch sci Fi?
