Oh my god. See, this is why I don't watch this show anymore. Is there anyone that Abby hasn'tslept with? And are we now supposed to be rooting for Luka and Abby or Luka and Sam? Because I kinda liked Sam.

Neela married who? Who's Michael?

Did you watch the shoot-em up on Conviction on Friday?

That'd be Dr. Michael Gallant (Sharif Atkins), who left the shows after the 2004 season, but whose character stayed alive via guest appearances and flashbacks. Until now, that is.

As for Luka, Sam was taking it pretty well. (She had a brief stroke of good luck when a rich patient engaged her to be his part-time live-in nurse, which kind of distracted her.) However, if Abby loses the baby, there'd be no compelling reason for her to stay with Luka, so the door would be open for Sam again. Unless, of course, she dies in the armed abduction scenario.

But (!!!) now that she's a widow, never rule out the possibility that Neela could develop another crush on the good Dr. Kovac, either after or instead of consummating her illicit attraction to Ray. Unless Kovac gets fired for failing to intervene when Dr. Vic Clemente (John Leguizamo) got so strung out on pills and paranoia that he had to be admitted as a patient.

Maybe I see when you mean...

By the way, to the best of my knowledge, Abby's never slept with Ray, Pratt, Morris or any of the women on the show. (Of course, I could be wrong about that.)

BTW, whatever happened to Susan Lewis and baby Cosmo? I know her marriage was annulled, but I don't remember hearing anything after that about the baby.

Yeah, what did happen with Susan Lewis? And will Sherry Stringfield just get her act together already? Do you want in or out sweetie?

I'll take anything with Neela. I love her. Surely she can do better than Luka.

Regarding what I said about Ross and Hathaway... I was just responding to your statement that nothing good happens to characters with children on this show.

I really think Neela may wind up with Ray. They have a good chemistry. The fact that they started out as friends may or may not be a good thing. Look at Abby and Carter.

I had no TV for the first ten seasons of ER, so I don;t even know who Ross and Hathaway are. Was this Clooney???

I think it's inevitable that Neela and Ray (the "cool" indie musician who's gradually finding his way as a serious doctor) will hook up, but for how long is anybody's guess. For that matter, now that Abby's a doctor, she could always head to Darfur and reopen discussions with Carter. Who knows???

By the way, I adore Neela too. I intend to follow her (character and actress both) on to whatever she does next...
