VH1/EW World Series of Pop Culture

Those questions are hard!

Apparently I'm not enough of a pop culture fanatic. But I think I got all the TV questions right...

My team was eliminated. But those questions were hard! And they only took 5 teams out of around 30. I can't give you examples of the questions, because they told us that they had people policing the internet to make sure that none of us share. (Hello VH1/Entertainment Weekly Internet Police!) But trust me when I say that the questions were all of the "oh oh oh... I know this...and yet, I can't think of it" variety.

You wouldn't believe some of the people there. I mean they were really into it. Costumes and everything, and we weren't even going on camera that day. It was only a written test, and we couldn't sit with our team. I sat next to this guy who looked just like Luke Wilson in The Royal Tenenbaums. Jogging suit, beard, shades...wait a minute. Maybe it was Luke Wilson.

We had 15 mins to complete 50 questions, and I must have left about 15 blank. I'm ashamed of myself. The girl next to me was part of the team that passed and went on to the next round. I should have cheated off her. (But I didn't Vh1/EW Police! I didn't!) When we were finished, they graded the quizes in about 20 minutes, read the names of the 4 or 5 teams who passed, and the rest of us were sent home. Hmph.
