Hey person who who posted the Josh Hopkins discussion - please respond to my post! I want to be wrong.
On to other matters. Before sitting down to write this, I decided to check and see what Tivo Guy had suggested for me. Chuckle. He thinks I'd like real life medical dramas, an Oprah Winfrey about the lives of rich people, Dawsons Ceek, and sheesh, more mexican telenevolas. I guess I'm starting to see a bit of a pattern here. Dawson's Creek I get. That makes sense. And oh -kaaay, maybe someone who watches as much TV as I do would be interested in the lives of the rich and famous. (For the record, I'm really not, despite my Josh Hopkins infatuation.) But the medical shows and telenovelas seem a bit of a reach. Just because I have a season pass for Crossing Jordan doesn't mean that I want to be a doctor. It's not like I watch the show for the dead bodies in the morgue. (BTW Jordan's back on Jan 14!) Perhaps the telenovelas would make more sense if Tivo Guy was suggesting the ones on MyNetworkTV - i.e. the ones in English, because I don't know where he got the idea that I'm bilingual.
I plan on Season Pass-ing The Office. Scott Widney, you're right...I can no longer dismiss this show as a very good comedy. This is a real relationship drama, and you know how much I love those. Clearly Tivo Guy does.I hope you all followed my advice and watched Friday Night Lights this week. Is Riggens cute or what? Going to see Landry's awful band play, hee. What a guy. Oh, and I'm going to Season Pass How I Met Your Mother too. I caught up over the holidays. Damn, that's a good show. I wish I could write that funny.
