Tivo!

I love Tivo. My co-worker Steve said it would change my life and boy was he right. Already my season pass has saved me – why was My Boys on Thursday night? The season finale (told out of order- odd) no less! I would have missed PJ and Brando’s kiss!! I’ve set about 20 season passes – does that make me sad and pathetic?...Ok, yes it does. But at least I know it. I came back from the holidays and had about 25 things all set to watch, and that’s not including the shows that Tivo “suggested” I might like. I know I’m not the first to marvel at this, but really, where does Tivo Guy get the idea that I want to watch the building of war ships? Or Mexican telenovelas? I mean, really. It also is a tad hyperactive – every time I turn around it’s recording something. So I’ve been “training” it, and that’s actually a bit of a pain in the you-know-what. (Can I swear on this site?) But I do feel like I have a new TV friend. He’s like the Master of My Television. I also spent my holidays watching Friday Night Lights on NBC.com. They’ve got all the episodes up right now (Full length, not just those wimpy 2-minute recaps.) I recommend that you check them out. This really is one of the best shows on television right now. I take back everything Isaid about stupid football shows with crappy lighting and camera work.
