Buddy TV

I just love it when people send stuff to me. The latest morsel thrown my way was an Buddy TV.com's exlusive interview with Warren Christie of October Road . Hmmmm, clearly someone knows that I'm becoming obsessed with this show. Christie plays Ray "Big Cat" Cataldo, the nemesis of our band of brothers, and he provides a little insight on why people are loving this show: "I think that what people are starting to find is there’s something endearing about it. The show fills them with something…it’s very straightforward. It’s about people; it’s just humans and characters dealing with life issues. " Yes! That's it. Thats why I love this show - because these people could be me and my friends. People are at different levels of success; people have crushes on people that are not the "right" people to have crushes on (yes, that seems a little high school, but do we ever grow out of high school?); people are at different levels of maturity. And they all have to interact on the same playing field. Plus, let's face it - I watch to see Nick and Hannah make eyes at each other, and to be the first to say "I knew it!" when she reveals that he is Sam's father. But more and more I'm watching it for Janet and Eddie. Eddie, you piece of sh*t! You give good looking guys everywhere a bad name, and ordinary girls everywhere yet another reason to stay home with a pint of fat fee ice cream. I'm sort of touched by Tom Berenger and his conflicted relationship with his son Nick, but I'm not really into the other storylines yet. Is anyone else? By the way, when checking out the interview, poke around BuddyTV. It's a fun site.
