Sigh. The shows are going on their winter hiatus and I hardly know what to do with myself. Seriously, I actually went to two parties last week because I didn't have my TV shows to go home to.
Thankfully not everything is on vacation yet so we stll have some stuff to talk about. First, Heroes. "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" was finally explained. Allegedly. Because I still don't get it. I understand the cheerleader part. And I understand that Peter is the bomb. But I'm not real sure how the two are connected. I'll have to ask my smart friends about that one. Another thing - are we supposed to be worried that Claire's mom isn't back from the store yet? Did the Haitian get to her and make her forget wherre she lived? Does he really work that way?
Gilmore Girls: I'm totally off Christopher. Down with Chris! I thought it would work because he and Lorelei have the same sense of humor and he's got good social skills, and it's cute that he's Rory's dad and all. But Luke really seems to be growing up and when Scott Patterson (Luke) and Lauren Graham (Lorelei) don't have to act happy together, they create some serious sparks. So I am yet again pro-Luke.
Ok, what else is still on...oh, Men In Trees. Did I not tell you guys that this was a great show? I think this is my favorite new show. I love Jack (but will someone please tell James Tupper to stop mumbling?) Inspired casting getting Justine Bateman to play Lynn, his ex. I do wish Anne Heche would stop acting with her hair though. Watch and you'll see what I mean. I have a question about the fall finale though: was Marin mad at Jack? And if so, why? I don't get it.
I can't forget another plug for My Boys. This is TBS show is cute and very watchable. I can't quite decide if I find the protagonist cute or annoying, but I'm totally willing to keep watching until I figure it out.
