Heroes, Veronica Mars

Someone dies next week on Heroes; someone died this week on Veronica Mars. People dying everywhere...you know it's fall finale time.

Heroes is getting really good. I like how they made Syler young and kind of handsome. Not some old scary guy. So...who gets killed? Please let it not be Pasdar or Milo V - they both deserve to be on hit shows. I'm thinking Niki's hubby; so we could stop confusing him with the Haitian if nothing else. Maybe the painter guy? His story seems to have run its course.

Veronica Mars: Logan is BACK! But oh god, how sad was that break up scene? I thought I'd feel more upset, but this felt really organic to me. Logan would do that for those reasons. And frankly, Veronica deserved it. Logan is who he is. Damn is it good to have him back. But, sniff....I want him to be happy.

So, who killed the Dean – it’s either the Prof, the Wife, or any of the Lillith girls. Who am I missing? And do we really care? I actually would have been more intrigued if someone had killed the TA, who I still think wears a wig. That must factor in. And were we ever told why Mercer and Moe shaved the girls heads? Speaking of hair, I loved V’s new haircut, although I think I'm in the minority one that one.

I hated Mercer’s expository monologue. Creepy, yes. But it felt like a Scooby Doo “if it wasn’t for you meddling kids” monologue. How was everyone so certain that Moe was involved? On the boards people are talking about the prison experiment – apparently Moe was one of the prisoners and Mercer was a guard, but I don’t remember back that far.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if the Perfect Murder papers fit in??

Mac! And she looked so pretty. I wanna hang out at a party with Mac.

Poor Weevil. And right when he seemed to be getting his life back on track.

Piz. Can he get any lame-er?

I’m totally ok with this being the last season, as long as they end it in a satisfying way – i.e. L and V together, Mac happy, maybe a girlfriend for Keith…success for Weevil…
