Enjoy
Lost while you can; after November 8's episode, it goes on hiatus until February. In it's place will be a new show,
Daybreak, starring Taye Diggs.
Groundhog Day meets
24, the show is about a guy (Diggs) who is stuck living the same day over and over again. That day just happens to be the one where he got into a heap of trouble and his wife was killed. Or something like that. All I can tell from the promos is that he barrels his car through a bunch of other cars, his wife is shot and killed, and he says "I'm living the same day over and over again"
over and over again.
Perhaps ABC is trying to convey the tediousness er,
premise, of the show by airing the promo over and over and over again so we get the full feel of Diggs' character's frustration. If that wasn't the intent, it's certainly the outcome. I want to scream every time I see the beginning of these awful trailers. Could this show look any more boring? We get it: Taye Diggs+ Lots of Action +Wife Gets Killed = Sucky Day. I feel like I've seen the show about 50 times.
Memo to ABC: I'm not going to watch it. Why bother? Is it not enough to interrrupt
Lost and keep us on hold for two months? Now you have to insult us with this tiresome show? At the very least you could air different promos instead of the same one over and over. I'm ready to kill myself. Perhaps that was the intention. Perhaps they want me to kill myself so I won't notice that
Lost isn't on. Forget it. I'm moving over to
One Tree Hill.
