Since I live in Los Angeles, and have a lot of friends in The Business, I hear things. I already had an inkling that Anne Heche and James Tupper were getting involved in real life, but I didn't really care. But now that I know it for sure, it's kind of soured me on my new favorite show
Men In Trees.
I always rooted for Marin and Jack to get together; I think they may have even been my favorite couple on TV. But while watching last night, I couldn't help but think, "They left their spouses for each other, those dirty rats." (Ok, maybe I wasn't thinking "dirty rats," but you get the idea.) Now Marin and Jack just seem self absorbed, because the actors who play them come across that way. Yes, I can separate fact from fiction, but just watching the show made me feel sorry for Lynn (Justine Bateman). "Lynn!!! Don't trust him!!" Next week I'll probably scream at Marin's publisher, "No! She'll have a kid with you and break your heart!"
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this adds to the show. But don't tell me you
Grey's Anatomy watchers weren't thinking the same thing when you watched last night. "Don't marry him Cristina. He's going to be fired." Right? Am I right?
