It's 7:30pm on a Monday night, and I type this in eager anticipation of the night of television ahead. I'm gonna whip together a salad, and half a bagel (trying to diet these days) and settle in for:
Prison Break!!! I know that Lincoln won't die, because Dominic Purcell has top billing on this show. Plus, this whole show revolves around getting him out of Prison, so he'll surely live. But how? My bet is that Sucre has shimmied out of his cell and into the bowels of Fox River and messed up the chair. After that look of love (manly, friendship love) he gave Michael, there was no way he wasn't going to do something to help him out. Go Sucre!
Also, I read that a man comes back from the dead, so that has to be the Vice President's brother.(Aside: Why do we care so much about the Vice President's brother? I mean, do we even know or care who Dick Cheney's sibling's are?) But no way will he magically appear now, right as Lincoln is sitting in the chair. Although wouldn't it be funny, if Lincoln is strapped in, waiting to be zapped, and he looks into the viewing room and sees VP's bro (I can never remember his name) lurking in the back of the viewing room? And he's trying to get a message to Michael or Veronica via his eyes, or special telepathy or something, and they just sit there weeping, not understanding what he's doing. I giggle just thinking about the wooden Purcell actually trying to emote.
After Prison Break - Wildfire! Which I was taping while I watched Prison Break on the Command Center TV (i.e. the 18 incher pulled from the cabinet.) "Romance simmers," says the promo. Wheeeee!!! Go Kris and your cute agent! He really is a much better choice. He's a man for crissake. Matt and Junior are boys. I can't decide who is more annoying.Well, it's probably Matt because he's such a whiner. I think they were thinking "rebel" with this character, but boy did they not succeed. Junior is a little too pretty for my tastes, but at least he's funny.
Uh oh.... what about Everwood? Where's that going to fit in? I really need Tivo. I can't keep up with all my TV watching.
7:58pm. Scofield here I come!
