What to watch, what to watch...That Thursday slot turns out to be a doozie.

Last Thursday I finally had a chance to veg out in front of the TV. I had plans every night that week, and finally, a chance to do nothing. What to watch?! I knew I was watching "The OC" at 9pm, but now that "Dancing with the Stars" is over, what is left to watch at 8pm? I consult my Bible, the TV Weekly.

CBS: College basketball. Ugh, pass. NBC: "Will & Grace." That show is still on the air? Is anyone still watching it? At 8:30pm is "Four Kings." Oh yeah, that Seth Green show. Not supposed to be good. Pass. WB: "Smallville." Ehh. I don't watch that show. I don't care that much about superheros, and I don't see what the big deal is with Tom Welling. Yeah, he's got good hair, but take that away and what do you have? Clark. ABC: "American Inventor." Come on, who actually thought that was going to be a good idea? Why would I want to look at people's inventions? What does that have to do with the cruelty of human nature? Pass. Fox: "That 70s Show." See above re: "Will & Grace." Let this show die already. It's surely the '80s by now. At 8:30pm, "The Loop." Yeah, I've vaguely heard of this show. I think it's one of those single-camera, improv-y shows. Sounds dumb. Pass. UPN: "Everybody Hates Chris." Okay, now I tried to give this show a chance, I really did. I saw it once and was bored to tears. Pass. At 8:30pm, "Love Inc." See above re: "Will & Grace" and "That 70s Show." Seriously, wasn't this show cancelled a couple of months ago?

There's nothing to watch. I flip though my TV Weekly. "Gigli" is on Fx. Hmmm, ok, I'll give that a shot. How bad could it be. I'll just watch the first hour.

- 3 minutes later. Okay, it's pretty bad. I'll watch "Will& Grace." Actually, this show turns out to be pretty good. It's the one where Grace is going to tell Leo that she's pregnant only to find out that he's getting remarried. All-righty, I stick around to watch "Four Kings." Well, this show isn't so bad either.Todd Grinnell ("Jason") is damn funny. Laugh-out-loud funny. Funnier than Seth Green funny. Funny. Too bad the show got cancelled. Well, actually no. The show isn't good. But someone get Todd Grinnell a new show because I think I'm in love.

Oh good, it's 9pm. "California....Caaalifoooorrrniiaa...."
