What About Brian?

What about Brian looks pretty good

For anyone wondering, What about Brian on ABC looks to be a good show. But, I may be biased because I'm a huge Barry Watson fan. I mean really, how cute is he? He's like the perfect guy.

I'm sort of undecided in how I feel about Sarah Lancaster's Marjorie character. I see what they were thinking, and I'm willing to suspend judgement for now. I didn'tlike Sarah when she was on Everwood but that may be because she was splitting up Ephram and Amy, or perhaps it was because she was essentially a cradle robber. And then when she had Ephram's baby it just became way too soap opera.

But anyway, I like the character of Marjorie (although who names their kid that anyway)and I like that Sarah Lancaster looks like a real woman - i.e. she isn't a stick.

Matt Davis who plays Brian's friend/Marjorie's fiance, I've always hated. Perhaps it is because I saw him at a mutual friend's birthday party and he shoved a camera down the front of his pants to take a picture of ... anyway. Suffice it to say that to me, he always emits "scumbag."

Amanda Detmer plays Deena, a married mother of 3, who wants an open marriage. I've always liked that actress. And I like whoever is playing her husband too. Oh yeah, and Rosanna Arquette and some other guy are in it.

Give it a try. I see some possibilties. Especially since JJ Abrams is the executive producer. Although he doesn't always strike a homerun (anyone seen The Pallbearer?) he's still a pretty safe bet.

And in my book, you can't go wrong with Barry Watson.
