All Star Holiday Extravaganza (Dec. 6) The Food Network All Stars share savory recipes. Bobby Flay, Giada DeLaurentiis, Guy Fieri and Alton Brown kick back at a New York City loft to cook, chat and share their tips on casual entertaining for the holiday season. Food Network Challenge Giant Gingerbread (Dec. 6) Two teams of three pastry chefs face off to build six-feet-tall gingerbread houses. They have eight hours to decorate the houses in the holiday spirit. The winning team takes home $10,000 and a gold medal. Good Eats Holiday: Twas The Night Before Good Eats (Dec. 8) A dark holiday night finds Alton Brown visited by a series of culinary spirits who drive him to prepare long-lost yuletide classics. Dinner Impossible: Robert and Guy’s Holiday Havoc (Dec. 10) On a special holiday edition of Dinner Impossible, Robert is surprised when Guy Fieri pops up to deliver an extreme Holiday mission. Robert and Guy join forces with Share our Strength to give members of the Santa Rosa Boys and Girls Clubs a day they’ll never forget. Robert and Guy must create an unforgettable meal for 300 guests of the Boys and Girls Club in 10 hours. Throwdown Holiday: Feast of Seven Fishes (Dec. 11) Feast of Seven Fishes is an Italian holiday tradition where families gather and share a delicious multi-course meal of fish. Although, this year 'tis the season for the tables to be turned, when the Pellegrino family of Rao's Restaurant, in New York City , challenge Chef Bobby Flay to a holiday Throwdown! Take a trip down nostalgia lane with documentaries airing on BRAVO! featuring two very different but equally talented and influential singers. The Johnny Cash Christmas Specials: 1976-1979 (Dec. 14, 15)One of Johnny Cash’s most successful forays into television ever, The Johnny Cash Christmas Specials originally aired on CBS between 1976 an 1979. An influential musician, Cash was a unique figure in the turbulent 1970s, outspoken enough to be embraced by the counterculture, and yet conventional enough to be safe for middle America. The 1976 special guests include Merle Travis and Roy Clark and the 1977 special includes Jerry Lee Lewis and The Statler Brothers (Dec. 14). The 1978 special includes a Steve Martin comedy sketch and is followed by the 1979 special, with performances by Anne Murray and Andy Kaufman (Dec. 15). Freddie Mercury: A Kind of Magic (Dec. 1) This profile tells the true story of the iconic Queen front man Freddie Mercury.Originally made to coincide with what would have been the legendary showman’s 60th birthday, the documentaryincludes exclusive interviews with Mercury’s loved ones. The fiercely private Mercury was famous for the gossip surrounding his colourful love life and hedonistic lifestyle. After long negotiations with Jim Beach, Queen's manager, and one of the trustees of Mercury’s estate, the documentary producers managed to secure unparalleled and exclusive access to Mercury's close friends and collaborators for this intimate and exposing account of his life.
